If shopping is more your thing then down town Santa Cruz can offer a great range if shops which sell gold, silver and platinum jewellery. You can purchase a variety of souvenirs here as well, such as beautiful carved animals which are painted in exotic colors.

If you like to try different foods then Huatulco offers a wide range of international and traditional restaurants and bars. They serve such foods as the famous Tlayudas which is a foot long tortilla chip which is then filled with vegetables, beans and sauce…mmm! And if you’re not into Mexican food then there are steakhouses and fish taverns.

If you like entertainment then down town Santa Cruz has it all, including bars, discos whose entertainment goes on till the early hours of the morning. You can also enjoy open-aired restaurants while listening to Latin music underneath the stars.

If your wanting to go for the hottest time of the year then the best time to go would be June through to October as the temperature is approx 32 C, but if your wanting something a bit more cooler then November through to May are the better months for you.
